COMMITTEE BYLINES
At the recent committee meeting the following subjects were discussed:
In order to keep better control of who has breakfast at working bees tickets will be issued to attendees up to 8.30am on that morning only! Anyone turning up later than 8.30 will be given working bee credit and breakfast at the discretion of the convenor.
A notice warning of helicopter spraying operations in progress is to be kept in the TX pound, Any member becoming aware of the helicopters in the vicinity is asked to display the notice in the Tx pound so that later arrivals are aware of the situation. The notice only to be removed once the heli pilot has signalled he has finished or the mandated 45 minutes has elapsed since the last sighting.
As the subject of the lease for the Uhlmann Rd site has not yet come up at a Moreton Region Council meeting, no further progress has been made.

LIBRARY NEWS
The latest DVDs have arrived - they include a 3D tutorial, two on the IRCH Jamboree 2008, Giant Planes USA 2008, Warbirds Over Delaware 2008 and the Tucson Aerobatic Shootout 2008. All are proving very popular!

Letter to the Editor
Dear Sir or Madam
We have finally got our new market place web site up and running. Over the period of our first month, we had in excess of 5,000 hits with just over 1,800 people open our site and view the listings.
The only thing we need urgently now is new items for sale. LIST & SELL FOR FREE!
We ask for any assistance you can offer in getting the details of our new site out to your members inviting them to list their surplus hobby items.
Our success is directly linked to the success of those who sell and buy through our market place.
Any feedback in regards to the categories and subcategories and any recommended changes would also be greatly received.
Thanking you in anticipation. Kindest regards
